Summer:
- Fishing in the lakes Stora Lungen and Öjevettern. Good fishing-waters for zander, perch and pike. There are row boats and simple equipment for rent. We sell fishing licences (SEK 30:-/day, SEK 70:-/week, or SEK 200:-/year) and depth maps (SEK 50 :- each). You can also buy a fishing license for the whole channel Bergslagskanalen for SEK 200:-/week. - There is a ”put and take lake” about 5 km (3 miles) from the farm.

- Travel on Bergslagskanalen by boat or canoe, that you can rent from us. We can help you with planning suitable tours that last for one day or more. Along the channel there are arranged resting-places, with wind shields (where you can stay for the night) and grill possibilities, as well as outside privys. On the channel there is a passenger boat that takes you through the lakes, sluices and channels of the channel. (Nobella). There are also larger motorboats for rent (www.stensviken.com)

- Bath: Take a morning bath at our pier, or our little sand beach, or walk about 800 metres to a larger bathing-place.

- Hiking: There are many beautiful and well preparated paths close to the farm.

- Golf: About 4 km (2,5 miles) from the farm there is a beautiful nine hole golf course.

- Cycling: Here are many scenic gravelled and asphalt roads. We have cycles for rent (SEK 50:-/day)

- Picking berrries and mushrooms: In the woods around the farm there are great possibilities of picking berries and mushrooms.

- Other activities: In the immediate surroundings you have the chance join guided tours in the wild regions with canoe, trolley rides on a railway track nearby and horse riding. In Karlskoga it is also worth paying a visit to the adventure house ”Boda Borg”.

Winter
- Long-distance skating: On Bergslagskanalen there are great possibilities of different kinds of skating. There is a marked track (about 50 km/31 miles long), that is cleared from snow when necessary.We sell skating cards (SEK 40:-/day, SEK 80:-/week, or SEK 150:-/season). You can get information about ice-conditions by entering (www.bergslagskanal.se), or by looking at the information board at the track. You can also phone us directly.
An exercise race called Johnny Nilsson marathon will be arranged every year. You can rent skates, boots and ice-prods from us for SEK 100:-/day.

- Skiing: In Filipstad, about 25 km (15,5 miles) from the farm, the Swedish championship in cross-country skiing was held in 2001. The skiing tracks that were used then are perfect for those who like skiing. There are also cross-country skiing possibilities around the cottages, and for those who rather go skiing downhills, there are slalom slopes in Filipstad and Lunedet, close to Karlskoga.

- Winter fishing: Jigging zander, perch and pike is a wonderful experience, especially in February and March.
